Watch local artist and Rashad Malik Davis while he creates art during this drop-in session where he will also answer questions and talk about his creative process.
Join Rashad Malik Davis, Princeton Public Library’s current maker-in-residence, for this informal drop-in session where you can watch him create art and learn more about his creative process. Davis will be working at a table in the lobby of the library and welcomes questions and conversation about his approach to storytelling through illustration, character design, and building a career as an artist.
Davis is an award-winning illustrator, children’s book author, and visual storyteller whose work blends vibrant imagery with powerful cultural themes. Throughout the summer, his artwork is also on view in a special exhibition on the library’s second floor.
All ages are welcome to stop by, observe and engage.
